A video of the incident was posted on Monday morning by TikTok user Pinunkoi. It showed elephants walking into the resort grounds in tambon Moosi, Pak Chong district of Nakhon Ratchasima. There were two vehicles parked there - a truck and the visitor's sedan. One of the elephants attacked the sedan, using its trunk to flip it over and causing severe damage to the vehicle. The truckie was trying to drive away when park rangers arrived to control the elephants, which eventually walked back into the forest. The TikTok user who posted the video said the park had accepted responsibility for the damage. An official said the elephant might have been feeling playful. In posted comments, people said the owner might have left food inside the car.
