Uragan Umberto ojačao je danas u kategoriju 3 i očekuje se da će i narednih dana biti snažan, saopštio je američki Nacionalni centar za uragane.

Umberto je lociran oko 655 kilometara zapadno i jugozapadno od ostrva Bermudi, a vetrovi duvaju 185 kilometara na sat.

Očekuje se da će uragan stići do Bermuda u sredu uveče ili četvrtak ujutru, navodi Rojters.

Tropska oluja Imelda preti jugoistočnim delovima američke savezne države Teksas, kao i jugozapadu Luizijane narednih dana, javlja AP.
