Serbia got an Oscar nominee: It achieved a decisive victory over other movies with 9 votes (VIDEO)
The expert committee of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Serbia (AFUN) announced that the film will be the Serbian candidate for the Oscar Award. It is a movie directed by Dejan Zecevic. "Izgrednici" (Vandals).

Only four films this year fulfilled the conditions: the documentary "The Other Side of Everything", Mile Turajlic, "Nowhere" Predrag Velinovic, "On bugs and heroes" by Petar Pasic and selected "Vandals" by Dejan Zecevic.
The decision was made by the expert committee of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Serbia, composed of:
President Volk dr Petar, filmologist; Avramovic Aleksandar, producer; Bajic Rados, actor / director; Borisavljevic Vojkan, composer; Cvetanovic Zoran, Producer; Djokic Jelena, editor; Gavric Tomislav, filmologist; Gutovic Milan Lane, actor; Jelic Milan, director; Jeremic Milenko, scenographer; Kljakovic Miljen Kreka scenographer; Popovic Predrag Pega, dir. of photography; Vlajic Vera, director; Zecevic Bozidar, filmologist; Zelenovic Radoslav, filmologist; Zivkovic Radmila, actress.
The winning film received 9 votes.
