A man, a foreign tourist, was injured during a lightning strike in Istria, while Dubrovnik was underwater due to massive rainfall, reports Croatian portal "Indeks".

A great change in weather arrived with our neighbors. There is a massive rainfall in most of the country, and the temperatures dropped by 10 degrees C.
17.000 flashes of lightning were recorder above Istria and Kvarner during the night, and the rain was falling so much that it caused floods, and certain parts of the country lost electricity.
Dubrovnik was struck by a strong storm in early morning hours. More than 40 liters of rain fell, which caused floods. A man, a foreign tourist, was injured in the lightning strike in Istria, in Labinstina in a car on a street. Also, a lightning strike hit a house near Kastelir and a substation in Labinstina which caught fire.
Three airlines from Rome, Athens, and Istanbul were redirected from Dubrovnik to other airports due to the strong storm.
Massive rainfall was recorded on Krk. 38 to 45 millimeters of rain were recorded in the city of Krk, and up to 40 in Ponikve.
SHORT TERM STORMS EXPECTED IN SERBIA
Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia issued a warning that we can expect short-term storms with abundant rainfall, heil and storm winds.
It will be cold in Serbia, cloudy and partly with rain and short showers, followed by thunders.
Most of the precipitation is expected in the east of the country. The wind moderate, west and north-west. Morning temperature from 12 to 16, highest daily from 17 to 24 degrees.
