A provocative sign appeared on the favorite Serbian beach in Dalmatia: Dogs are swimming here (PHOTO)
A Telegraf reader sent an alarming photo which was created in Dalmatia, in Gornji Karin near Obrovac. There is a beach here and Serbs are the ones that mostly go there. Croats wrote "Beach for the dogs" and NDH (Independent State of Croatia) at the entrance with the aim to provoke Serbs.
The last provocation, written on an abandoned house, is just one in a series of insults that Serbs perceive on a daily basis in Croatia. They are the "smallest" form of terror through which our people pass in a country where thousands of Serbs were expelled.
And after 23 years of operation "Storm", our people still do not feel safe in Croatia, even if it is only touristic visits.
Many expelled Serbs want to return to their homes, but they fear due to constant provocations.
Throughout Croatia, thousands of houses belonging to Serbs are still empty. The question arises, will those houses become a home ever again? Although many Serbs want to return to the country which was their home 30 years ago, they think that they will never be safe in it.
Many fear for their lives.
Serbs experience many provocations and hostility throughout Croatia. Removal of the license plates, waiters who won't serve a Serbian guest because he ordered "kafa" instead of "kava" (coffee), and the saleswomen who don't want to give them hleb, but kruh (bread). Serbs can expect all of that.

The war between Croatia and Serbia is long gone, but our people still didn't find peace. Those who escaped on tractors with just basic things, they dream about returning home one day, where they lived and grew up.
But, those are just hopes and dreams.
MASSIVE EXPULSION OF SERBS FROM CROATIA DURING THE WAR
During four days in August 1995, Croats have expelled Serbs from the territory of the former Republika Srpska Krajina in Croatia. The operation was named the "Storm", and the international tribunal in Hague characterized it as a joint criminal enterprise.
Over 200.000 Serbs were expelled from the territory of the former Republika Srpska Krajina.
15.000 Serbs were expelled in the operation "Bljesak" on May 1, 1995, 283 of them were missing or killed, 9 children and 57 women among them. The operation was performed on the territory of former Slavonia.
