There is no doubt that the Ribnica canyon is one of the most beautiful pearls of the Kolubara river basin, where the Ribnica cave is located next to the northern slopes of Maljen and Divcibare. It is located in the village of Pastric, just three kilometers from the center of Mionica.

The Ribnica Cave got its name from the Ribnica River, which is on its left. The entrance to the cave is in the form of an equilateral triangle, a height of 12, and a width of 25 meters. A stream flows through the cave and the sound of it creates the most beautiful melody of nature.

This place represents a real little paradise for hydrogeologists who described the events in the Ribnica cave as a unique phenomenon of "theft" where a real book example could be seen where the waters are going to the other, underground flows. In this place, the waters of Lepenica are flowing into the river Ribnica in underground flows.

The Ribnica cave has two equal entrance channels, which in the interior are unified in a unique large room. These two channels have been the subject of intense archaeological research for nearly twenty years. Archaeologists have discovered extremely interesting facts about the survival of hunters in the cave from the end of the Ice Age, their hearths, as well as the various tools and weapons they used at that time.

A large number of tourists across our country visits this natural beauty and they keep returning. The monument of nature Ribnica represents a fairy place where you will find intact nature, clear rivers, caves, clean air, rare plants and animal species, simply put, a real vacation for the soul and body.
