FIFA fined Serbia because of the flag of our fans!
The International Football Federation (FIFA) has fined the Football Association of Serbia with 10,000 Swiss francs because of the indecent and offensive behavior of the fans in the match with Costa Rica at the World Cup.
As it was stated, the Football Association of Serbia was fined for "offensive flag and political messages", which were displayed during the match with Costa Rica last week.
FIFA has hired experts to monitor whether there is discrimination on the field or on the stands during World Cup matches.
Also, the Football Association of Mexico was fined with 10,000 francs, whose fans had insulted the goalkeeper of the German national team Manuel Neuer and shouted homophobic slogans.
FIFA announced that the efforts of the Mexican federation to persuade fans to stop with bad behavior were noted.
The Mexican Football Federation has been warned and is facing additional penalties for similar incidents in Mundial in Russia.
