A young Serb went to Texas to work and live the American dream... and he died there: The family is gathering money to return his body home

A young man from Belgrade Nemanja Spasic (29) died in a tragic car accident while he was driving a truck through Texas. His family can't mourn the loss of their child in peace but they have to gather money to return his body home and to bury him in the homeland.

Many friends of Nemanja, a lot of our people in America, organized the collection of money on website gofundme.com to help Spasic family at least like this. They wrote:

Nemanja moved to the USA a few years ago to live the American dream.

He has had the greatest heart in the world and he wanted to help his family in Serbia. That is why he tirelessly drove a truck and he sent the money to his parents, so they could have a better life. He was happy to have found his soulmate Amy in a far away country and to start a new life with her on Florida.

Nemanja Spasic leaves behind his wife of 2 years, Amy, his loving mother Sladjana, his father Slavoljub, and his younger brother Nenad.

- Nemanja Spasic’s family is grieving the death of their loving husband, son, and brother, but soon they will be faced with the financial reality of losing their breadwinner. The family does not have the funds to pay for the recovery of his body from Texas to Florida and then on to Serbia to be delivered to his devastated Mother.   Funeral expenses will also be difficult.  We are asking for any donation small or large to help the Spasic family with these enormous expenses. All donations will go directly to the family to get Nemanja home and help the family till they get back on their feet.  The Spasic’s are a caring and beautiful family coping with a devastating loss and a financial crisis.

They managed to gather almost half of the money in just 16 hours, but that is not enough. Therefore they appeal to all people who can help this family in this sad moment.
