Serbia got four "Mig-29" aircraft from Belarus
Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin said that Belarus has donated four "Mig-29" to Serbia, which will be refurbished and modernized in the same way as the six aircraft received from the Russian Federation.

- The results of the agreement between the president Vucic and President Lukashenko, Belarus has donated four planes and we are very grateful for that - Vulin said in the interview for "Politika" on the occasion of the Day of the Military.
According to him, we will have a squadron of modernized "Mig-29" by the next Day of the Military, the first helicopters "H-145M" will arrive and he believes that we will also have "Mi-35", as well as numerous weapons form our production.
Vulin adds that self-propelled howitzers "nora 552" are in the final phase of the testing at the Technical Expert Center and they expect their admission to the armament of our army very fast.
Speaking about the export of arms, the minister said that 718 millions of dollars were contracted from the January 1st to this day,
- That says that our defensive industry is very successful and that our products are very sought after in all markets, no matter if those are Arab countries, EU members of numerous NATO members, also Collective Security Treaty Organization members - Vulin said.
The Minister of Defense stated that there are attempts to endanger our airspace and that they are recognized and prevented.
- Nothing can enter our space without us noticing it and we react in accordance with the estimated degree of danger - he said.
Asked whether, according to the Defense Ministry, there is a risk of deterioration in the security situation in Kosovo and Metohija and in the Land Security Zone, Vulin says that the army is keeping the peace and security of every citizen, but that there is always a risk.
- We are vigilant with every attempt to destabilize Kosovo and Metohija, and especially the attempt to take the north of the province by force - he stressed.
He announced that the Serbian Army will have a considerable number of activities with NATO this year, the largest number of activities so far with the Collective Security Treaty Organization, but also a large number of bilateral activities with the US and Russia, the largest ever so far.
- We are military neutral country and we will act accordingly in the time ahead of us - Vulin concluded.
