The Statehood Day of Serbia was solemnly marked in Slovenia: Ljubljana is our sincere friend on our European road

The Serbian Embassy in Slovenia organized a reception on Tuesday on the occasion of the Statehood Day and the constitutionality of the Republic of Serbia, during which Serbian Ambassador Zorana Vlatkovic said that relations between the two countries are at the highest level.

She added that citizens of the Serbian nationality contribute greatly to the Slovenian society, stressing that she is proud of the great Serbian community living in Slovenia and which is well integrated, according to Stajerske News.

- Workers, doctors, engineers, artists, and athletes make a great contribution to the Slovenian society and it is our desire that they continue to be loyal citizens of Slovenia, but also to preserve and nourish their culture, letter and tradition - said Ambassador Vlatkovic said in her address on the occasion of Statehood Day of Serbia.

The ceremonial reception in the embassy of Serbia was attended by numerous distinguished figures and officials from the world of diplomacy, politics, society, as well as representatives of religious communities.
