Bombastic NBA trade connected the Serbs: Bobi and Teo together, Clippers sent Griffin to Detroit!
Serbia again has two basketball players in the same NBA team after a long time!
Milos Teodosic will play on with the national team colleague, Boban Marjanovic, the American media confirmed, as well as the manager of the Serbian giant, Miodrag Raznatovic.
Marjanovic is just a part of the "package" Detroit Pistons sent to Los Angeles in the exchange for the first star and so far, the greatest January trade - Blake Griffin.
Clippers, besides Boban, got one of the best defensive players and a shooting guard Avery Bradley, and the first scorer of pistons of the season, Tobias Harris.
Boban Marjanovic is the new player of LA Clippers! #BeoBasket— Misko4Raznatovic (@MiskoRaznatovic) January 29, 2018
Clippers already tried to make a trade with Minnesota for Karl-Anthony Towns, but the doors were closed immediately. That wasn't the case with Detroit, and Stan Van Gundy will try to pair Griffin with Andre Drummond.
The team from Los Angeles could "clean up" 2019 because contracts of Harris (14.8 million) and Marjanovic (7 million) will expire, while Bradly's contract will expire next summer. DeAndre Jordan could become a free agent in this summer.
On the other side, Griffin is too heavy, with 141 million for the next four seasons.
