The trademark of this natural treasure of East Serbia are centuries-old trees of beech who has been growing here for over than 350 years. It can reach the heights up to 45 meters, with gorgeous green crowns, these trees give Vinatovaca a special charm and beauty.

Besides beautiful green that rests the eyes, you will find the varied plants and wild animals in the only rainforest in Serbia. We must not forget to mention the calming sounds of the river that goes to Resava - Vinatovac stream. Its mild sounds and clear air will take you to some other dimension, the one where nature is left for itself.

The Vintovaca rainforest is under the strict protection of the state - the cutting of trees is forbidden, the picking up of flowers is not allowed. A special permit from the Institute for Nature Protection is required to enter this reserve.

What is also special about this incredible paradise, besides the fact that no trees were cut down, but no trees were moved or taken away. Simply, if a tree falls down under the effect of wind, snow, or old age, it remains in the forest, it's not touched. That means: completely preserved nature, with no human intervention.

A specific natural reserve of the dark beech forest is located at an altitude of 640 to 800 meters and is still a hidden jewel that is not known to the general public. That's why it is a unique experience and unique adventure to walk along the untouched nature with a great note - not to destroy and to protect our natural wealth!
