Relations between Serbia and Montenegro at the highest level in the past 10 years: Vucic talked with Brajovic (PHOTO)
President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, met today with the President of the Montenegro Assembly, Ivan Brajovic, with whom he discussed bilateral relations, key issues of importance to the citizens of the two countries and European integration.
President Vucic expressed his satisfaction with the degree of cooperation between the Parliament of Serbia and Montenegro and stressed that it is necessary to work on strengthening economic cooperation, especially in the field of infrastructure connectivity, in order to construct the Belgrade-Bar highway and reconstruction and modernization of the Belgrade-Podgorica-Bar railroad.
The two also discussed the situation of Serbs in Montenegro and Montenegrins in Serbia.
- I expect that we will speed up the procedure on all important issues and projects and that we will soon have good and concrete results that our citizens will feel in their everyday life - said President Vucic.
The President of the Assembly, Brajovic, emphasized that the relations between the two countries are at the highest level in the last 10 years and that they are now entering the stage of stability and relaxation, which has greatly contributed to the relationship between the governments of Serbia and Montenegro.
