A new cafe will open in Vinkovci "Buba Bar" which will be employed with only persons with Down syndrome.

Alen, Domagoj, Ivana, Marija and Tina are involved more than a month in intensive labor practices to a more successful start of work.

The project was initiated by Vinkovci Association of Persons with Disabilities "Ladybird" on the model of Scotland where they were personally convinced in the good practice, as reported by Glas Slavonia.

- Persons with disabilities have the potential, but in this story there are primarily people with Daounovim syndrome. We work according to the model of Scotland and it would be a cafe where there were offered several kinds of coffee, even more, we want to  to be the best coffee shop in Vinkovci - said Tomislav Velic, chairman of the association "Ladybird".

Coffee will be "a little different coffee with a little more heart", and their slogan "21st chromosome for a better coffee".

- We hope that we will succeed and that the bar will be profitable in order to ensure the sustainability of the project and the paycheck because "Ladybird" is a non-profit association - said Velic.

He also added that it was particularly important for the public to see that people with disabilities can and want to work, and thus to contribute to the community.

The project will be promoted on 25 May, and in the meantime, "Ladybird" is making a financial structure. President of the Association is satisfied with and that the city authorities have recognized the idea and go out to meet them by searching for attractive locations.
