Ahead of May Day holiday, Roads of Serbia advise drivers how to travel with minimum delays
Public Company Roads of Serbia (JP Putevi Srbije) has informed the public that increased traffic intensity is expected on all road routes in the Republic of Serbia during May Day.
May 1 and 2 is a non-working holiday in Serbia.
The company said that it is ready and organized and that work at toll stations has been intensified.
All toll collection channels, card distribution channels and electronic toll collection (ENP) channels are in operation 24 hours a day without a break, a statement said.
"The fastest way to pass through toll stations is enabled by electronic toll collection (ENP), which significantly shortens travel time and allows vehicles to pass without stopping, and at the same time represents a cheaper way to pay tolls," Roads of Serbia announced.
The company appealed to all road users to adjust their speed to the conditions on the road, keep a safe distance and obey traffic signals.
