Driver killed by truck trying to help crash victims: 2 horrific accidents on Belgrade bypass within 10 minutes

Two serious traffic accidents took place this morning on the highway near the 1001 Ruza hotel, in which two people died while several others were injured.

The first accident happened shortly before 8 am near the hotel. A 43-year-old man was killed instantly. Another person was serious injured.

The second accident took place ten minutes later, on the other side of the highway, when a man was mowed down by a truck.

According to initial information, the victim was about 30 years old and had gotten out of his car to see what was happening at the accident site. At one point a truck ran him over.

An ambulance driver was, along with the doctors, helping those with lesser injuries.

Five people were admitted to the Emergency Center with minor injuries.

In order to avoid such unfortunate events, the authorities have repeatedly appealed to road users not to stay on the road close to accident sites.
