Vucic addresses public from the Palace of Serbia

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic met today with President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides, who is on a working visit to Serbia.

The meeting took place in the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade, from where Vucic addressed the public:

"Dear president, dear friend and brother, welcome to Serbia. I hope you will feel at home. We are deeply grateful to Cyprus for providing support to Serbia's European path and for the bilateral cooperation that covers many areas," Vucic said at the beginning.

He added that "something will have to be done in terms of trade."

"That, like military cooperation, should be improved," said Vucic.

A plenary meeting between the delegations of Serbia and Cyprus, led by Vucic and Christodoulides, will also take place today.

Christodoulides arrived in Belgrade last night. He was welcomed at the Nikola Tesla airport by Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric.
