President Vucic confirms he will be in Moscow on Victory Day, and is likely to attend funeral of Pope Francis

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has received an invitation and will probably attend the funeral of Pope Francis on Saturday in the Vatican, along with dozens of leaders from the world's most powerful countries, Novosti is reporting
"I'm not sure yet, either myself or Mr. Macut (the prime minister) will go to the Vatican," Vucic told TV Pink last night.
He also spoke about his trip to Russia on Victory Day, May 9.
"I will receive all the blows from the outside and the inside, I will proudly represent Serbia. Like I said, let the sky fall on my head. I will proudly represent Serbia at the 80th anniversary of victory over fascism," Vucic said, and added:
"My ancestors died at the hands of the Nazis in World War II. I carried my grandfather's picture with pride in Moscow. I will be there, but I also have a lot of work to do there concerning the economy. I have to talk to President Putin about the gas arrangement. We have until May 30 to sign the gas arrangement. We must solve the issue related to the oil company. We have to talk about all the other topics."
