After last night's drama, when Serb Republic (RS, Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH) special police prevented three SIPA agency inspectors from serving an arrest warrant to RS President Milorad Dodik, the situation in front of the RS Government building in East Sarajevo is calmer this morning, but a large number of police officers are still present.

There are still many members of the RS MUP on the ground, blocking the side streets of the building and not allowing media crews to approach the fence of the RS Government building.

Because of the presence of strong forces, it is assumed that Dodik and his associates spent the night in the building and will continue their activities today.

After learning that a meeting was being held in the Administrative Center of the RS Government in East Sarajevo, attended by Dodik, three SIPA inspectors arrived at the gate. This was the first "attempt" to bring President Dodik in for questioning since the warrant was issued.

SIPA told Sarajevo media that, while they were trying to get to Dodik, they were told force would be used.

Dodik himself commented on this situation during a press conference held last night.

"Does anyone really think that the police, who are in charge of protecting institutions, would bow down to the occupier called SIPA, the (BiH) court, the prosecution and (Christian) Schmidt? That man is a fool," said Dodik.

He added that he feels safe and that he "will not leave the building under pressure."

Dodik's security last night included members of the East Sarajevo Police Department, members of the RS MUP Gendarmerie and the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (SAJ). Armed, they stood in front of the SIPA inspectors, not allowing them to enter the building.
