The debate about the new government continues in the National Assembly, where members of the ruling majority are saying that the opposition's demand to form a transitional government will not be met, and that criticism is welcome, but should be distinguished from anarchy.

The opposition continued to criticize the program presented by PM-designate, as well as his picks for the members of the next government, claiming that it is a "government of continuity".

The head of the parliamentary group "Aleksandar Vucic - Serbia must not stop", Milenko Jovanov, reiterated that there will be no transitional government.

"There will be no transitional government because we are sitting here with this kind of people because we have to, but we will not join a coalition with them," said Jovanov.

He added that neither the ruling coalition nor the students and other citizens who have been protesting are in favor of a transitional government, and that only the parliamentary opposition wants that.

"That idea of yours, to recover, via a transitional government, from the political knockout dealt to you by your supporters will not pass. The opposition is to blame for all this, this is not how political dissatisfaction is channeled," Jovanov said, addressing opposition deputies.

Responding to the criticism directed at the candidate for Minister of Education Dejan Vuk Stankovic, regarding alleged sexual harassment, Jovanov stressed that it disgraceful when lies are told, for which there is no evidence, and then those telling them distance themselves, saying they do not know what the truth is.

Deputy from the Association of Vojvodina Hungarians Boris Bajic reiterated that this parliamentary group will vote to elect the proposed new government of Serbia and that their intention is to participate in that government at the level of state secretaries.

"There has been a lot of manipulation of people's emotions in recent months, it must stop and we must return to institutions. Criticism is welcome, but it should be distinguished from anarchy," said Bajic.

Deputy Stefan Janjic from "Srbija Centar Srce" and deputy Borko Stefanovic from the Party of Freedom and Justice also criticized the PM-designate's program. President of the National Assembly of Serbia Ana Brnabic issued a warning to deputy Milos Parandilovic, the president of the New Face of Serbia party, for threats to the parliament.

Responding to Parandilovic's claim that the government is "afraid" of students and that it will be "finished" once "Strasbourg comes to Belgrade" - Brnabic said that it is a disgrace to threaten Serbia and its National Assembly with "Strasbourg".

"You are threatening Serbia with Strasbourg! Shame on you! In the National Assembly. I am reprimanding you," said Brnabic.

Responding to the claim that the Rules of Procedure had been violated, made by deputy Radomir Lazovic - who said that if she wanted to participate in the discussion, she should hand over the chairmanship of the session to the vice president - Brnabic said that she was defending the dignity of the House of the National Assembly.

"As far as I'm concerned, this is a defense of the dignity of the National Assembly, and that's my job. If someone in our National Assembly threatens me and all citizens of the Republic of Serbia with Strasbourg, that's a disgrace for this house," Brnabic stressed.

She issued a reprimand to Rastislav Dinic, a member of the Green-Left Front, because he referred to the ruling majority as "occupiers".
