It is suspected they were killed in a migrant fight: New details about the crime in Obrenovac

The bodies of two men, most likely migrants, were found this morning in a forest near the New Cemetery, close to Obrenovac, and according to unofficial information, they were discovered as the police investigated a fight that happened last night.

Namely, the police received a report on Sunday evening that a fight had broken out between migrants in that location. Concerned citizens noticed two men with injuries caused by sharp objects lying on the street, in a pool of blood.

"Two migrants were injured in that fight. They were transported by ambulance to the Emergency Center, where they were treated," a source said after the incident.

Inspectors from the Criminal Police Directorate (UKP), who were in the meantime informed about the event, found the bodies of two other migrants in the forest near the cemetery, during the investigation.

"There were visible injuries on their bodies that were most likely caused by a sharp object. The assumption is that this was a conflict between migrants," added the source.

The investigation into this crime is ongoing.

Earlier today, Telegraf was told that two male bodies were found in Obrenovac around 10:00. The corpses were found in the woods during a search of the area.
