A man threatening to commit suicide by holding a gun to his head in the middle of the road has completely blocked traffic on the Ibar highway this morning, with kilometers-long lines of vehicles forming, as can be seen in the footage taken by our reporter at the scene.

The police are rerouting traffic, it is possible to reach the Ripanj exit, while a part of Barajevo is also closed.

Everything is blocked because of the man who is holding a gun to his temple and threatening to commit suicide.

According to eyewitnesses, the man has been mentioning public bailiffs, while holding a gun to his head.

We have learned that at one point this morning, he got out of his car in the middle of the road, took a gun and continued to stand there.

Emergency teams and many police officers with negotiators are at the scene.

Traffic has been stopped, and an ambulance arrived.
