A true drama took place in the center of Kosjeric this morning, when a man snatched a policewoman's gun in the middle of the street, to immediately shoot himself in the head.

According to the latest, unofficial information from the field, the man was showing signs of life when he was transported to the Uzice hospital, in a very serious condition.

"He approached a policewoman, snatched her gun and shot himself in the head. We don't know much about him, except that he is from the village of Tubici, that he takes care of his mother, who is disabled. He is a daily wage worker, but also often asked for money from acquaintances he'd come across in town. He did not have an official diagnosis, but it was rumored that he had mental health problems," a resident of Kosjeric told RINA.

At the same time, the locals have only words of praise for the policewoman whose gun was stolen.

"She is wonderful, she mostly worked at a school. We all sincerely hope that she will not suffer consequences at work because of everything that happened," they say.
