Dacic reacts after Interpol decides not to issue international notices for Dodik and Stevandic

Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic has stated - regarding the request to issue international notices for the arrest of President of the Serb Republic (RS) Milorad Dodik and President of the RS National Assembly Nenad Stevandi, submitted by Interpol Sarajevo - that the General Secretariat of Interpol assessed, based on Serbia's protest note and an explanation submitted by Interpol Belgrade, that the request is not in accordance with Article 3 of Interpol's Statute.
"Regarding the request to issue international notices for Milorad Dodik and Nenad Stevandic submitted by Interpol Sarajevo, we have been informed that the General Secretariat of Interpol assessed, based on our protest note and the explanation from Interpol Belgrade, that the request is not in accordance with Article 3 of the Statute," said Dacic.
Interpol decided that conditions to issue the notices have not been met - "thus proving that it firmly adheres to the principle of neutrality and non-interference in internal political matters in member countries and that it will not allow abuse of its institutes, such as the international notice, for political purposes. Accordingly, the (request for) the notices will be annulled and the data will be deleted from Interpol's database," said the minister.
