Movement for People and State, that announced by Vucic, gets registered in Serbia's APR

The Movement for the People and the State, the formation of which was announced by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, has been registered as an association in the Business Registers Agency (APR).

It is stated that the goals of the association are raising awareness about the importance of the state and national sovereignty, advocating for prosperity, progress and modern state organization, promotion and affirmation of opportunities to contribute to the development of national awareness.

The date of registration is March 28.

The association is registered with headquarters in Belgrade, with Tijana Nikolic as its representative.

The movement's statute is attached along with the registration information, which says that the Movement for the People and the State is a non-governmental and non-profit association, established for an indefinite period of time to achieve goals in the field of modern development and prosperity of the state, that is, the Republic of Serbia, and to strengthen awareness about the people and the state.

The statute adds that in order to achieve its goals, the association collects and processes scientific and professional literature, organizes, alone or in association with other organizations, professional meetings, forums, counseling, seminars and other forms of education, publishes publications about the work of the association and participates in the realization of projects from the domain of the association's work.

It adds that the association also organizes volunteer campaigns, cooperates with universities, schools, professional associations and other organizations in the country and abroad to achieve its goals and informs the public and citizens of Serbia about current topics related to its goals.

The statute also states that any person who accepts the goals of the association and the statute and who submits an application for membership to the representative of the association can become a member.

A minor who has reached the age of 14 can join the association by attaching a certified statement of their legal representative giving consent, while legal representatives submit applications for those under 14.

The first meeting of the committee for the establishment of the Movement for the People and the State was held on March 23 in Belgrade, when President Vucic stated in a post on Instagram that there was symbolism in "a big job" starting in the House of King Petar I, and called on all honorable citizens to contribute to Serbia with their capabilities and knowledge and to help our country become the most successful in its history.

He added that the contours and path toward a good and secure future of Serbia are being drawn, a path that leads to prosperity, progress and freedom for all future generations.
