Vucevic on 26th anniversary of the start of NATO bombing: Serbia mourns and remembers, Serbia will not stop

Today, on the 26th anniversary of the beginning of the NATO bombing of Serbia, caretaker Prime Minister Milos Vucevic said that this crime remains unpunished to this day and added that Serbia will preserve the memory of all those who defended the country and laid down their lives for it.
"On this day, March 24, 1999, 19 of the strongest (countries) attacked Serbia, thus trampling on international law and the decisions of the United Nations Security Council, and over the following 78 days they were ravaging our fatherland, killing our children, destroying our bridges, factories, schools, hospitals, media outlets," Vucevic stated on his Instagram account.
He added that we still remember the sound of air raid sirens and continuous detonations.
"The NATO crime has remained a crime without punishment to this day. We are a nation that does not forget its victims and its history. We preserve the memory of all those who bravely defended our country, gave their lives for freedom and for the future of our children," stressed Vucevic.
He pointed out that today Serbia leads a policy that is attempting to solve all problems peacefully, preserve peace and stability, and strives to ensure that the crimes committed against our people and our homeland in the past never repeat.
"Serbia is free and proud! We will forget the NATO crime only if we no longer exist! Glory eternal to all the victims. Serbia mourns and remembers! Serbia will not stop," stated Vucevic.
