Vucic speaks after meeting with Rutte: We discussed how to preserve peace and stability in region

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic spoke last evening in Brussels with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
"The conversation and dinner lasted two hours and 40 minutes, first we had a face-to-face meeting, then a meeting between the delegations, we discussed all important issues, the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the main goal of preserving peace and stability in the region. I hope it was useful for Serbia, I believe it was a successful day for Serbia," Vucic told the press after the meeting with Rutte.
"I raised an issue, it is about the violation of the sub-regional arms agreement from 1996. I am convinced that NATO was not informed. I do not believe that either Pristina, nor Zagreb, or Tirana will worry about that," said Vucic, referring to a recent military agreement between Croatia, Albania, and so-called Kosovo.
When asked if he will resign because of the alleged use of a "sonic cannon" during a protest in Belgrade, Vucic said:
"Do you have footage of a sonic cannon being used against protesters? You're talking nonsense. No one used it. You haven't shown me any proof, because you can't find proof of something that doesn't exist. A sonic cannon was not used against our population.
All the experts, including Moore, clearly said that there was not a single sonic cannon anywhere. You know it's not true and then one lie catches up with another. Everyone, including you, knows that I am telling the truth. This (the allegations) are necessary in order to bring Serbia down. Tomorrow they (opposition) will appear in the Assembly to demand a transitional government.
Do they want elections? No?! In our country, decisions are made through elections, not on the street. They use student 'blockaders'.. Many of them would like to be in that, but they know that by doing so they become Djilas' pawns. Whatever they want on the street, will not pass. Either a government will be formed according to the will of the majority, or we will go to elections. And maybe there will be a transitional government, if the people from the SNS don't listen to me," said Vucic.
