Former Partizan football club goalkeeper Radisa Ilic (47) has committed suicide by jumping from his apartment.

He played for Partizan on two occasions, first from 1998 to 2003, and then from 2010 to 2013, while he also made one appearance for national team of Serbia.

Radisa Ilic was born in Bajina Basta, where he started playing football, after which he moved to Sloboda from Uzice, where he stayed for four years. Great games in Uzice recommended him to Partizan, where he first arrived in 1998.

After his first, 5-year spell playing for the Belgrade club, Ilic went to Romania and joined National Bucharest, to quickly return to Serbia and sign a contract with Borac from Cacak, and then move to OFK Belgrade, where he became the team's captain.

He then played in Greece for a while before rejoining Borac.
