These are the mother and daughter who burned alive in a car near Subotica: Drunk driver killed them

Sanela S. and her daughter Marija S. lost their lives last night in a traffic accident that happened in Mala Bosna, a place near Subotica.

They burned to death in a car that caught fire after a crash caused by the driver of another car.

The accident occurred around 7:20 pm when a Passat driver J.T. (53) lost control of his vehicle while speeding, and hit a Fiat in which the mother and daughter were traveling.

Both vehicles flipped onto their roof and the Fiat"caught fire shortly after the collision.

The victims died at the scene, while J.T. and his passenger were transported to the Subotica hospital, where they were diagnosed with serious injuries and kept for further treatment.

It was was determined that J.T. was driving with 2.07 permilles of alcohol in his blood, and by order of the Basic Public Prosecutor in Subotica, a criminal complaint will be filed against him for committing a serious crime against public traffic safety.
