Orban wishes Vucic a happy birthday: Interests of Serbia and Hungary are so intertwined...

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic is celebrating his birthday and has received a congratulatory message from Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, which states:
"Dear Mr. President, dear Aleksandar, allow me to congratulate you on your 55th birthday and express my best wishes, from the bottom of my heart.
The interests of Serbia and Hungary are so intertwined that whether we wanted it or not, we had to become friends.
Although almost two tragic centuries had to pass before Istvan Szechenyi's warning, made in 1830, became a reality, it gives hope and strength that Hungarians and Serbs have now realized that there is no separate Serbian and Hungarian path, that one common path leads to a successful and peaceful future.
With these lines, I express my sincere gratitude and respect for the historic commitment and unparalleled courage you have shown in order to achieve Hungarian-Serbian reconciliation. I am proud that, together with you, I can write a new history of Serbian-Hungarian relations, which no longer speaks about discord and suffering, but a common future and common successes.
Without you, we would not be where we are today, so allow me to express my gratitude on behalf of the Hungarian people and at the same time confirm my commitment to the further deepening of the Hungarian-Serbian friendship.
I wish you good health and much success in your responsible work."
