First photos of fire that destroyed 3 cars in Belgrade: Neighbors claim to have heard strong explosion

Around 4 o'clock this morning three parked cars caught fire in the Belgrade neighborhood if Bezanija.

We learned that one car exploded and thus caused the fire.

A Telegraf team went to the scene where they encountered horrific sights. Not far from a kindergarten, there were three completely burned down cars.

According to the neighbors, the car in the middle exploded and then the fire engulfed the other two that were parked next to it.

"It was very scary, the fire was huge and we immediately called firefighters," one of the neighbors told Telegraf.rs.

According to them, the explosion was not loud, but the blaze broke out very quickly and spread to the surrounding cars.

At the scene, we noticed that one car, although it got filled with water during the extinguishing of the fire, was still smoking.

The blaze was quickly contained, and fortunately no one was injured.

The cause of the explosion is still unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
