Brnabic: Media claims that a vehicle from Vucic's escort injured a child is a lie

President of the National Assembly of Serbia Ana Brnabic today denied media reports that a vehicle belonging to the President's escort was involved in a traffic accident in which a child suffering from cerebral palsy was injured.
"This is a lie. No one from the entourage of the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, participated in any way in this traffic accident. Shame on this 'media', in fact a propaganda machine that in this way invites a color revolution to Serbia," Brnabic posted on X.
She assessed that this is a way to call people are being called to the streets, fueling with lies the attempts to violently overthrow the government.
"It's not enough for you to abuse children every day during protests, in schools, the minors you are interviewing against all journalistic and media codes of conduct, now you have come to abuse children with cerebral palsy," she stated.
Brnabic called on the media that published this "news" to also publish which vehicle was involved in the traffic accident, and its number plate.
"Either that or admit that you are lying, desperate that the protests are getting smaller and that people in Serbia are already sick and tired of all this bullying. (Those are) liars without a shred of morality and humanity, not the media," said Brnabic.
The Nova portal published earlier, citing its findings, that a child with cerebral palsy suffered minor injuries in a traffic accident caused by a vehicle belonging to the escort of President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic.
According to the site, the accident happened on the road leading from the Brestovac bridge to Bor, and it allegedly occurred when the second vehicle out of a total of four from the president's entourage crossed into the opposite lane at an inappropriate speed.
