Brnabic comments on blockade of EXPO construction site: Opposition trying to prevent any progress in Serbia

President of the National Assembly of Serbia Ana Brnabic commented today about the blockade of the EXPO construction site, carried out by the NADA coalition, to say that the opposition is trying to prevent any progress in Serbia, while the government is fighting every day to make Serbia stronger.

"Every time the same story - they destroy, we build. They are trying to prevent any progress of Serbia - we fight every day to make Serbia stronger. And that's the essence," Brnabic wrote on X and emphasized that Serbia will continue to win.

She asked if Predrag Marsenic was among those blocking the EXPO construction site, who previously, on behalf of that coloalition, thanked the representatives of the Investigative Mission of the International Bureau of Exhibitions from Paris "for even considering Serbia as a potential host of EXPO 2027" - and added that his words show submissiveness towards foreigners, as always.

"And that shows two things to all citizens of Serbia: (1) that everyone from the opposition supported the EXPO candidacy only because they say 'yes' to whatever foreigners ask them, and (2) that they supported Serbia's EXPO candidacy because they sincerely believed that Serbia would not be able to get it, that we would not be able to win against America, Spain and others," Brnabic stated.

She pointed out that Serbia has won and that they are now blocking the site.

"Just one message for the terrorist organization of French citizen Milos Jovanovic: Serbia will continue to win!"

The NADA coalition, which consists of the New DSS and POKS, previously announced that it had blocked works on the main EXPO construction site, while the president of the New DSS, Milos Jovanovic, said that "there will be no peace for the authorities until they accept the fact that a transitional government is the only solution to the huge political crisis Serbia is in."
