Serbian Council for National Security to convene after Bosnia court sentences Milorad Dodik to prison

An emergency meeting of the Council for National Security has been scheduled to start today at 5 pm, at the proposal made by President Aleksandar Vucic!
Earlier in the day President of the Serb Republic (RS, Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina) Milorad Dodik was found guilty by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for "disobeying a decision" made by the so-called high representative, Christian Schmidt.
The ruling is not legally binding at this moment, and it will become so after both the defense and the prosecution file appeals and the second-instance panel of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina makes the final decision.
The second-instance verdict should be handed down by the end of this year.
The court today sentenced Dodik to a year in prison and a 6-year-ban on involvement in politics.
Addressing a rally in Banja Luka, Dodik said, "We need to rejoice. I have been sentenced to their sh**, to their prison. They say I'm guilty - now the people here will explain why I'm not."
"Therefore, there is no reason to worry, I'm used to dealing with more difficult things, and we'll deal with this, too. What matters to me is that you're here and that you support me," the RS president told those gathered in front of the RS National Assembly.
