We discussed solutions for NIS: Vucic on details of his meeting with Russian ambassador

I had an open and friendly conversation with Ambassador Botsan-Kharchenko about all important aspects of cooperation between Serbia and the Russian Federation, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on Wednesday.

He added that they also discussed current international events and the role of our countries in the new geopolitical context.

"We also discussed urgent issues, such as the most optimal solutions for NIS (Petroleum Industry of Serbia) and new modalities for further cooperation in light of the growing pressure on the global energy market," Vucic posted on Instagram, and added:

"I reiterated the importance that Serbia attaches to the comprehensive strengthening of ties with the Russian Federation. We will continue to work on strengthening our bilateral relations and common interests, in the spirit of friendship and mutual respect."
