This is where car mechanic Bogdan murdered random passer-by, Uros: First photos from the scene in Belgrade

A 41-year-old man, Uros P. was found stabbed near Cvetkova Pijaca (market) in Belgrade's Zvezdara municipality last night around 20:30, and he later succumbed to his wounds.

Acting on the order of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade issued later in the night, the police immediately arrested and detained a car mechanic, 37-year-old Bogdan T.

He is suspected of murdering Uros P., who, according to unofficial information, happened to be passing by when he was attacked.

This morning, there are still traces of blood at the scene, which testify that a life was taken there only 12 hours earlier.

Bogdan T. has been charged with aggravated murder.

By order of the prosecutor, the body of the victim was sent for an autopsy.

Telegraf.rs has learned that Uros's body was found in a pool of blood. The suspect is believed to have stabbed him in the chest.

After the murder, the police activated its Operation Vihor ("Whirlwind").
