Six investors arrested for illegal construction of four buildings in Belgrade: Young woman among them!

In a major operation to suppress illegal construction carried out by the Third Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia (MUP), six people have been arrested.
They are suspected of investing in the construction of four buildings without obtaining construction permits. A young woman is among them.
The suspects have been identified with their initials and age: A.L. (47), P.Z. (23), Z.N. (54), A.N. (23), N.M. (29) and K.M. (24).
"Acting on the orders issued by the public prosecutors from the Third Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, and in cooperation with the police officers in New Beograd and construction inspectors from the Building Inspection Department of the City of Belgrade, six persons have been arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of building four residential buildings, as investors, without construction permits. The offense is based on Article 219a paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code," a statement said.
The suspects will be questioned on February 21, regarding all the circumstances stated in the criminal charges. They will then be brought to the public prosecutors of the Third Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.
A former secretary in the Secretariat for Legalization Affairs of City of Belgrade, Nemanja Stajic, was also arrested today on suspicion of approving the legalization of a number of illegally constructed buildings.
