Courier service chief embezzles 200 MILLION! SBPOK officers raid company premises

The Public Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime today ordered the Service for Combating Organized Crime (SBPOK) to arrest N.A., a resident of the town of Sabac, who is suspected of committing the criminal act of embezzlement.

N.A. is suspected of appropriating funds in the total amount of 201,343,443.62 dinars (1.7 million euros) in the period from October 2022 to July 2024, while working as the manager of the PD Daily Express branch in Sabac.

The suspect is believed to have kept a part of the money collected by the courier service on a daily bases, instead of depositing it into the account of PD Daily Express, in this way incurring damages to this company in the stated amount.

During the day, the suspect will be brought before the Public Prosecutor's Office for organized crime for questioning.
