Milorad Dodik says Radovan Karadzic is in serious condition

Serb Republic (RS) President Milorad Dodik has announced that Radovan Karadzic's condition is serious and that his life is in danger, all because of inadequate medical care and inhumane conditions in a British "dungeon" on the Isle of Wight.

Dodik wrote X that today he spoke with Sonja Karadzic Jovicevic, Radovan Karadzic's daughter, about his current state of health and situation.

Dodik stressed that the conditions in which Karadzic is serving his prison sentence go against all international rules, as well as the UN Declaration, and represent a gross violation of those, which is inadmissible.

"It is necessary to react urgently and provide Radovan Karadzic with adequate medical care, and regardless of the irreparable consequences of his treatment so far, I hope that this will happen soon," said Dodik.

Karadzic is serving life sentence in the Albany prison on the Isle of Wight, which has a reputation as one of the worst prisons in Britain and does not meet numerous standards adhered to by most European countries.
