Vice-president of the Serb List Ivan Zaporozac says that he expects that the Serb List will win all 10 mandates in the Pristina assembly (reserved for Serbs) in the upcoming elections in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija, scheduled for February 9.

He also pointed out that this party managed to preserve unity among the Serb people in Kosovo, "something that's is felt at every step."

Zaporozac told RTS that during the campaign, the Serb List managed to reach every Serb home and every institution in Kosovo and Metohija, to make people understand how important the elections on February 9 are and that without the support of the Serbian state, they would not be able to stay and survive in those areas.

"It seems to me that we have succeeded in this, that our people in Kosovo and Metohija have raised their heads, that unity is felt at every step, that on February 9 we will celebrate and that we will finally say that we want a new life in these areas, that nobody oppresses us any longer, shuts down our institutions, and if we have the opportunity to be the kingmaker, for the current government (in Pristina), the current regime to no longer be in power," said Zaporozac.

He added that Serb List is the only electoral list that has received Belgrade's official support and that of the state leadership and that the Serb people in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija know that they would not be able to survive for a single day without the support of the state of Serbia and its leadership.

He pointed out that the Serb List fought to save every job together with the state leadership, for every student and every preschooler in the territory of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija has a lunch allowance, to create even more jobs.

According to him, the regime in Pristina managed to shut down buildings, but failed to shut down any institution.

"We will not allow, nor will our state allow, any (Serbian) institution to be closed and any job to be lost in Kosovo and Metohija. And all this is thanks to our state, thanks to our work and that wise policy," said Zaporozac.

He said that Albin Kurti and his regime in Pristina almost two years ago started a showdown with all Serbian institutions and everything that is Serb in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija, and that the Serb people suffered because of Kurti's election campaign long before it started.

Zaporozac noted that Kurti started the official election campaign, which lasts a month, in a very ugly way and that people close to him lied and waged a dirty war on social networks against the Serb List, which the party managed to deal with, and unite the Serb people.
