Minister of Internal Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic has said that a tree was in the way of a car in which Prime Minister Milos Vucevic was traveling on his way back from a panel held near Sremska Mitrovica, stressing that the police are investigating in detail the information that the tree was deliberately felled.

"Every detail is being investigated, the police are working on it, the prime minister's safety was not under threat, but it was something that coincided with him visiting that part of the Sremska Mitrovica area" Dacic said.

He was speaking on TV Pink, thus commenting on media reports about the prime minister of Serbia - who the night before participated in a panel in the village of Radenkovic near Sremska Mitrovica - namely, that an unknown person had felled a tree that completely blocked the delegation's path on the way back to Belgrade.

Reacting to the statement that this "does not sound normal," Dacic agreed and added that nothing is normal anymore.

"Every detail needs to be carefully analyzed to see why, what is happening, for what reason...," said Dacic.
