"We will not plunder NIS and we will not do anything that is not agreed with our friends, with our brothers from Russia, just as we would not do such a thing to anyone else. We will not adopt any measures, any solution regarding issue of NIS (Petroleum Industry of Serbia) that is not coordinated with Russia. We are not thieves, robbers, we will not steal anyone's property," Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin has told Informer TV.

"If tomorrow someone imposed sanctions against European companies in Serbia, do you think that we would nationalize them, that we would steal American companies in Serbia, or anyone else's? Do you really think that if Trump, or any American president, introduces sanctions against China, that we would nationalize Zijin. Of course we wouldn't, we are not a nation of thieves and cowards."

He added that everything that is happening right now, and at the same time - from the protests in Serbia, which are supported by all parties in Croatia, Bosniak parties, their ministers, Kurti, who all believe that the protests in Belgrade are the most important and positive thing that ever happened, through the European Union and the European Commission, which say they are concerned, to the decision of the dying, outgoing Biden administration to impose sanctions agaisnt NIS - is part of the hybrid attacks against our country, they are not accidental and are done only with one goal: to get us to fall out with Russia, and to fall out permanently.

That will not happen, said Vulin.

He stressed that everything is being done simultaneously with the desire to turn us against our old friends and for political and economic instability in Serbia to lead to a change of government, and then you can do what you want with Serbia.

"All this is being done now in order for Serbia to quarrel with the countries from which it can only expect support and help, so that we remain completely alone. The obstacle to that is President Vucic, who has the courage and strength to fight pressure and continue to lead an independent policy that saved us. It kept us safe all these years."
