Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic will not fight for the Australian Open title as he left the court after losing the firsts set 6-7 (5-7) and decided not to continue to play against Alexander Zverev due to injury.

At the moment when he announced the decision, disbelief reigned over the court and the stands, because no one expected such an outcome.

As some fans booed him, Djokovic calmly reacted to them with a thumbs-up gesture.

However, despite his great desire, the injury and muscle spasms were stronger, which forced him to retire from the match.
