Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met today at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Odile Renaud-Basso.

After the conversation, Vucic said that he informed her about Serbia's plans for accelerated development, especially in the context of EXPO2027, as well as the goal of having an economic growth rate of 4.2 percent in 2025.

"Always an excellent and meaningful conversation with Odile Renaud-Basso. I informed the respected interlocutor in more detail about Serbia's big plans for accelerated development in all fields, especially in the context of the upcoming EXPO2027 (in Belgrade), and reiterated my belief that the EBRD, as a leading institutional investor in our country, will be involved in the realization of this bold vision. I pointed out that Serbia has set an ambitious goal for itself this year in terms of achieving a growth rate of 4.2 percent," Vucic wrote on his Instagram account.

The president added that he stressed that people rightly expect big and bold moves from decision-makers, as well as that international forums like the WEF provide an excellent opportunity to exchange opinions and for world's political, economic and financial leaders to consult regarding the future of the world we want to leave to future generations.
