Vucic: We will present a plan and program for Serbia, but also new people, here's when
President Aleksandar Vucic said last night that as part creating a new movement and organizing rallies, a plan and program for Serbia, but also some new people, will be presented.
"This is much broader, people always think that it is some tactical response, that someone wants something because of elections - no. I invited people from the central part of Serbia, Pomoravlje, Sumadija, Rasina and Branicevo districts, who have time, to come to Jagodina on Friday at 5 pm, because they will hear many smart people whom they have not had the opportunity to see and hear so far," Vucic told RTS in Davos.
He stressed that this does not mean that anyone will give up on successful and good people who are currently working in the government or who are not there, but are known to be successful.
"But we will definitely try to introduce some new people who are not in any way tainted, who have not been in politics or have been in politics much less, and who want to show that Serbia can be more successful and better, but first of all, to present a plan and program," Vucic emphasized.
He said that the way they must differentiate is that their plan and program must not be about hatred towards someone else.
"There must not be insults towards others, it must be exactly what Serbia must do to continue to grow the fastest in Europe as we expect it to be the fastest growing economy this year, so that we can increase salaries and pensions and reach the average 1,400 euros by the end of 2027, or early 2028. That we must continue even when we reach 2,000 euros," said Vucic.
He added that we must work harder, fight and take a good look at what is happening in the world.
"And we have many difficult reforms to implement at the level of education, at the level of healthcare, at the level of many other things that we have to bring about," said Vucic.
