Serbian president and China's first vice premier meet in Davos
It is a great honor to have the opportunity to meet with First Vice Premier of China Ding Xuexiang at such a prestigious gathering of world leaders (World Economic Forum), Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic wrote on his Instagram account.
"We talked about the rapidly changing world in the atmosphere of numerous global challenges that require urgent and pragmatic solutions, as well as about the possible implications of large and important decisions that are expected from global decision makers.
Speaking about the role of Serbia and the friendly China in today's world order, I reiterated the importance our country attaches to our cooperation, based on our friendship made of steel, trust, support, mutual respect and common interests.
We also talked about economic cooperation and the huge potential for additional investments in the new vision of Serbia, as a country that is becoming the center of investments in this part of Europe.
I pointed out that China, as one of the global technological leaders, is a strong partner of Serbia in the realization of the biggest and boldest projects, many of which we will present at EXPO2027.
I took the opportunity to send warm greetings to a great friend of our country and people, President of the Republic of China Xi Jinping, who personally contributed to a strong connection and even greater closeness between our citizens," wrote Vucic.
