Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has congratulated Donald Trump on assuming the office of the president of the United States of America.

You have always enjoyed the greatest support in all of Europe from the citizens of Serbia, and that is why Serbia expects and hopes for exceptional and close cooperation.

I wish you success in your new term, confident that you will bravely face all challenges, as always before, and that you will continue to fight strongly for the prosperity of the United States and global peace, building bridges toward all those who share with you the highest moral, traditional and state-building values," wrote President Vucic.
