Vucic announces big gathering after he gets back from Davos: President to speak in Jagodina

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is traveling to Davos today, where he will have numerous meetings. In a video published on his Instagram account he told the citizens of Serbia that he is looking forward to talking with them at a big gathering to be held in Jagodina after his return from Switzerland on January 24.

In his address, he said that he will be in Davos for two, three, or four days, depending on the circumstances in the country, and that he will then immediately return to Serbia to spend time with the citizens.

"I am happy to go from village to village, from town to town and talk to young people, listen to old people and see what their objections are and what they think we can do better and differently. We are making great preparations for a serious fight against corruption, and I think that citizens in each of their towns will be able to see the result of that fight," said Vucic.

He added that the first big rally is scheduled for Friday, January 24, in Jagodina, where he will address citizens in the town square.

"We are starting in Jagodina. I think that I have not spoken in an open space in Jagodina for more than two decades, and this will be an opportunity to address the people of Pomoravlje and Sumadija from the main square.

Some professors who you could not often see in public, young people, untainted, will also speak, and we will talk about a Serbia of the future and a Serbia of success, about a decent Serbia that will not abuse tragedies and that will fight for all its citizens.

I am looking forward to that rally, which will take place in Jagodina starting at 5:30 pm, but I can't wait to see what you have to tell me, and I will prepare some new programs for you that will push Serbia strongly into the future," President Vucic said in the video, addressing citizens.
