First horrific photos after nursing home fire: Bodies covered on the road, entire roof burned down
Eight people died and seven were injured in a fire in a nursing home in Veliki Borak, that broke out around 3 o'clock this morning.

The bodies of the victims are covered with sheets. The roof of the home has completely burned down.
There is a large number of police in front of the nursing home.
"The fire broke out in the back part of the building where the roof also collapsed. There are currently two firefighting teams there. Four people are at the VMA, and three at the Emergency Center. One elderly woman looked really bad when they took her out. We still don't know who died," say witnesses of the tragedy.
MUP reacts
Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP), Department for Emergency Situations, put out the fire that broke out during the night in the nursing home in Barajevo, a suburban Belgrade municipality.
There were 30 people in the home at the time the fire broke out, eight of whom died, seven were injured, three of them are treated at the Emergency Center, and four at the VMA. The other residents have been taken to another home for the elderly.
The fire broke out at 3:32 am, and upon arriving at the scene at 3:45 am, firefighters-rescuers found it was in an active stage on an area of 150 square meters, out of the total area of the building's of 500 square meters.
32 firefighters-rescuers with 11 vehicles from Barajevo, Lazarevac, Kosutnjak, Zeleznik, Vozdovac and Zvezdara were deployed.
There are grounds to suspect this was a case of arson, and the police, in cooperation with the competent prosecutor's office, continue intensive work to establish all the circumstances and facts related to this event.
Dr. Lekovic: Four injured taken to VMA
Doctor Ivan Lekovic told RTS that four people injured in the fire in a nursing home in Barajevo were brought to the VMA.
Of the three people admitted to the Toxicology Clinic, one woman is in serious condition and is intubated.
Prosecutor Stefanovic speaks
The on-duty public prosecutor from the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office (VTJ) in Belgrade is conducting an on-site investigation where eight residents of a nursing home died in a fire the previous night, said Nenad Stefanovic, the chief public prosecutor in Belgrade.
He added that there are reasons to suspect that the fire was started by one of the residents, who himself died.
"Autopsies have been ordered, and all the circumstances of this case are being determined, after which the VJT in Belgrade will decide on further steps," said Stefanovic.
