Those members of the opposition who broke into the City Hall in Novi Sad today and briefly blocked it, stating that they were supporting students, have been thrown out of the building by the police.

They then tried to re-enter the building, but the police prevented that.

Councilor from the Bravo movement in the Assembly of the City of Novi Sad, Miran Pogacar, was detained.

Not long after, the Gendarmerie arrived and pushed the opposition out of the entrance to the City Hall.

During this glass on the front door was broken.

The opposition stormed the City Hall in Novi Sad instead of holding the announced press conference in the City Assembly, and deputy in the provincial assembly Radivoje Jovovic, from the opposition Movement of Free Citizens, stated that several deputies "intentionally created sabotage" while the others were entering the City Hall.

That is, he said they called a conference in the Assembly in order to divert attention from the others entering the City Hall.

More than 30 opposition councilors and provincial deputies broke into the City Hall, among them Marinika Tepic, Borislav Novakovic, Radivoje Jovovic, Miran Pogacar, Janko Veselinovic.
